Well, we’ve bought a house in the Dallas area and moved in with Mandy’s mom, Florence. And, the Silver Chariot is for sale. Check it out at 2012 Airstream for sale! It’s been a great run these past 3 years. We’ve crossed the country 4 times, towed through 27 states and volunteered in 10 Parks, National Wildlife Refuges or National Monuments. We will miss our life and friends on the road and the Airstream, but now we get to settle down to a life practicing architecture again for me, and building architectural models for Mandy. Here’s to more time with local family and friends!

We were going to wait until the spring of 2019 to start looking for a house in earnest, but we were looking just to see what the market was like and found the perfect house for the 3 of us in Mandy’s brother Allen’s neighborhood. So, we took the plunge. We’ll be taking literal plunges once the weather warms up again as the house came with a pool! Now Grandma can be mere blocks away from Allen’s daughters and live in a comfortable house that suits her needs.
